Juli & Jared {Couple’s Session}
This wonderful couple took advantage of my awesome Valentine’s Day special to get some fun portraits made! Unfortnately, it ended up being a VERY VERY cold day. So cold that the puddles on the ground and logs were frozen over. They were troopers though, and it totally paid off! No, the shivering did not result in out of focus shots, and yes, I was able to sucessfully get rid of the red ears.
I had such a blast with you two!

If you are a current junior at J.J. Pearce High School (my alma mater
), then you are in for a treat! I’m trying out a senior rep program for the Class of 2011 exclusively at J.J. Pearce High School. What does this mean for you? If you are chosen to be a senior rep (I’ll be choosing one boy and one girl), you will get a FREE portrait session, discounted prints, free web images and marketing materials featuring you, and the opportunity to earn some cold hard cash as well as other cool bonuses. Who could pass that up? I’m looking for outgoing and involved students to partner up with to help spread the word about my business. Check out my promo below, and let me know if you have any questions! Feel free to pass this on to anyone who might be interested!
Ashley {Senior Portraits}
Wow, this was such an amazing session! Ashley braved the very cold and windy conditions (along with her mom and sis – both excellent comedians and reflector-holders) for almost a full two hours last weekend. She is a very accomplished dancer and wanted to incorporate that into some shots. She is SO good that she was able to go up on point on an unstable floating wooden pier for these shots – what a rock star! I can’t imagine a more beautiful backdrop for these … they turned out just how I was hoping! Then we had a wardrobe change for some casual shots. And, I got to bring out the big red chair again! We dragged that thing about 40 yards up a hill to set up the perfect shot, and it was totally worth it. We also stopped several bikers in their tracks who paused to check out what was going on.
This session was such a great example of why you should really consider booking a full session to get the complete senior portrait experience. The thirty minute mini-session definitely serves a purpose and is great to get some quick shots with a few different poses in a single outfit, but the full session really gives us the flexibility to cater everything exactly to your needs. We had time for wardrobe changes, walking all over a very large area to get lots of shots in different locations, using some fun props, and just some good old creative experimentation. And most importantly, we had a blast! Thank you so much Ashley for being such a wonderful and willing subject. Enjoy your massive sneak peek!

My Little Munchkin
Here are some more of my little bit from the other day. She had sooo much fun running in the grass, playing with sticks, and watching the wind move through the tall grass. She was in such a good mood, we had a blast! Normally she runs the other way when my camera comes out, so I made good use of this little outing. And you just can’t beat that evening light, it just makes everything glow. If I try to convince you to schedule your session just before the sun goes down, that’s why!
I had a great time exploring this new location too. Such a great time, that I’m shooting a couple’s session there on Saturday! Speaking of couples, my availability before Valentine’s Day is disappearing quickly, so don’t wait if you want to take advantage of my Valentine’s Day special. Check here for more details!

The wind sure does make a mess of her hair …

She is such a goober!

I love that big toothy grin!

Just lovely …

More of this gorgeous young lady coming soon!
She makes my heart happy.
